  • Big Run State Park
    • A 300 acre state park surrounded by Savage River State Forest.
    • Located at the mouth of the Savage River.

  • Casselman River Bridge State Park
    • A 4 acre parcel located east of Grantsville MD. on Route 40.
    • Erected in 1813, longest single span stone arch bridge of the time.

  • Deep Creek Lake State Park
    • A 1818 acre parcel located on the shores of Deep Creek Lake.
    • Home to the Deep Creek Lake Discovery Center.

  • Herrington Manor State Park
    • A 365 acre parcel with a 53 acre lake located approx. 5 miles NW of Oakland.
    • Development began in the 1930’s and designated a State Park in 1964.

    • A 455 acre parcel with a 13 acre lake located approx. 8 miles S of Grantsville.

  • Swallow Falls State Park
    • A 257 acre parcel located approx. 9 miles N of Oakland.
    • Contains Maryland’s highest free falling waterfall at 53 feet.

  • Wolf Den Run State Park
    • A 2039 acre multi-use parcel located near Kitzmiller, MD.
    • Hunting ,fishing, biking, birdwatching, hiking and ORV riding available.

  • Potomac-Garrett State Forest
    • Nearly 19,000 acres of land make up this parcel.
    • The birthplace of forestry conservation in Maryland.
    • 3-D Archery range, horseback riding, hiking and camping can be enjoyed here.

    • Headwaters to the Potomac River.
